Nobody gets left behind on a night out.
SisterSafe is a free, invite-only app for a trusted group of friends. Switch on Night Out Mode and your group can see where each other are, check in with a tap, and raise the alarm if someone gets separated — then it switches itself off when you're all home.

Why we're building this
It only takes a moment to lose each other.
"Text me when you're home."
Everyone has said it. But on a busy night — a packed club, a dead phone battery, a queue for a taxi, a friend who stepped outside for air — it's easy for one person to end up on their own, and that's often when things go wrong.
SisterSafe was started by women who wanted something simple: a private space where your own group can keep an eye on each other, without strangers, without social media, and without anyone tracking you once the night is over.
How it works
Your group. Your night. Nobody else.
The app is still in development. Here's what we're planning — and we'd love to hear what you think.
STEP 1
Invite only
Groups are started by one person, who invites friends by email. Each friend gets a one-time code to join. No public profiles, no searching for strangers, no forwarded links.
STEP 2
Night Out Mode
Switch it on when you head out and choose when it ends. Location is only shared with your group, only for that night, and stops automatically — no tracking the rest of the week.
STEP 3
Check in & drift alerts
Tap "I'm OK" or "Home safe" so the group knows. If someone drifts away from the group, everyone gets a gentle nudge to check on them.
STEP 4
SOS to your group
Press and hold the SOS button to instantly alert your friends with your live location, so the people nearest to you can come and find you.
SisterSafe will never replace 999. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.
If you can't speak, call 999 from a mobile, then press 55 when prompted — this is the "Silent Solution" and tells the operator you need help.
Started by women · open to everyone
Any group that looks out for each other.
SisterSafe began with women's safety on nights out, but anyone can be vulnerable after dark. The app will be free for any group of friends who want to get home together.

Email info@sistersafe.co.ukPersonal safety kit
Every purchase will help keep the SisterSafe app free for everyone. We'll only ever sell products that are legal to carry in the UK.
Personal attack alarm
Pull the pin for an ear-piercing siren that draws attention and can startle an attacker. Clips onto a bag or keys.
Coming soonCriminal identifier spray
A UK-legal spray that marks an attacker with a coloured dye that's hard to wash off, helping identify them later.
Coming soonAnti-spiking drink covers
Reusable stretchy covers that fit over glasses and bottles, with a small hole for a straw.
Coming soonDrink test strips
Discreet strips for checking a drink for common spiking substances. Small enough for a purse or phone case.
Coming soonCompact torch
A bright, pocket-sized torch for dark streets, car parks and finding your keys at the door.
Coming soonDoor-wedge alarm
Slide it under a hotel or Airbnb door — it wedges the door shut and sounds an alarm if anyone tries to open it.
Coming soonWhy we don't sell pepper spray.
Pepper spray, CS spray and mace are classed as prohibited weapons in the UK. Carrying one could get you arrested, even if you only meant to protect yourself. Everything in our shop will be legal to carry.
Staying safe online
How to hide your visit
If you're worried someone might check your phone or computer, these steps can help. They only take a minute.
The Exit button
The red Exit button at the top of every page (or the Esc key on a computer) takes you straight to Google, and the Back button won't bring you back here. If you opened this site in more than one tab, close the others too.
It can't delete your browsing history. No website can do that, so follow the steps below to remove it yourself.
Delete the last hour of history
- Chrome on Android: tap ⋮ (top right) → History → Delete browsing data → choose "Last hour" → Delete data.
- Safari on iPhone: tap the book icon → the clock (History) → Clear → "Last hour".
- Chrome on a computer: press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Cmd + Shift + Delete on a Mac) → choose "Last hour" → Delete data.
- Other browsers: look for "History" or "Clear browsing data" in the menu.
Or remove just this site
If wiping a whole hour might look suspicious, open your History, find the sistersafe.co.uk pages and delete just those.
Next time, browse privately
A private tab doesn't save your history. In Chrome, tap ⋮ → New Incognito tab. In Safari, tap the tabs button and choose Private.
Don't forget
Emails you've sent us stay in your Sent folder, and calls stay in your phone's call log. You can delete individual emails and calls too.
If you're in danger right now, call 999.
If you can't speak, call 999 from a mobile, then press 55 when prompted.
